ERSD DEVELOPMENT PLAN

1. General objective

ERSD is working hard to become a hub linking activities such as conducting enviromental regulation and policy studies; developing environmental consulting services to formulate scientific and practical policies to serve the industrialization and modernization of the industry and trade sector; providing theoretical and scientific basis for environmental management in industrial production and commercial activities.  

2. Specific objective

To become a hub to connect Vietnam’s top enviromenal policy and institutional experts in industry and trade sector;
Building a database on the environment related activitites in industry and trade sector (e.g current situation of the environment, application of pollution treatment, environmental management and monitoring activities);
To promote environmental protection consulting services for industry and trade sector.

3. Future development

- Field of enviromental consultation;
- Field of enviromental research;
- Field of advising, consulting and criticizing environmental management activities.

4. Plan for the period 2022-2025

Project No.1: Research and propose solutions to promote the application of circular economy to industrial clusters in Vietnam;
Project No.2: SEA report of the “Development strategy of coal industry sector of Vietnam to 2030 with a vision to 2040”;
Project No.3: SEA report of the “Development strategy of energy industry sector of Vietnam to 2030 with a vision to 2040”.
